She worked as a TV News Reporter, TV News Anchor, and Social Media Specialist for KFDX-TV in Wichita Falls, Texas where she interviewed people from all walks of life and engaged with residents to tell their stories while promoting the station brand and increasing the news station's social engagement on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter through content creation and marketing strategies.

She was the driving force behind creating a fresh city logo and brand identity, a project that came to life in April 2022. Her relentless dedication led her to present this new vision to the City Council, who unanimously adopted the new logo and city flag—a moment of immense pride for DeSoto.
Collaborating with every department, Latoya crafts compelling content that speaks to the heart of residents, stakeholders, and the media, always keeping the city’s evolving needs at the forefront.
